About AGCCI

Launched in Kenya in 2022, the African Girls Can Code Initiative (AGCCI) has empowered 113 girls and young women to date, equipping them with digital skills and leadership training while boosting their confidence to drive change within their communities. The initiative is a part of a regional movement aimed at bridging the gender digital divide and creating a future where African girls are not just consumers of technology—but creators, leaders, and innovators.

AGCCI focuses on transforming Africa’s digital future by providing inclusive opportunities for young women to actively participate in the continent’s digital economy.

Join the Movement

By participating in the AGCCI 2025 Camps, girls and young women will join a powerful network of peers and mentors who are leading innovation across Africa. This is more than a training opportunity—it is a call to action for young women to shape Africa’s digital narrative.
