About the Role
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Officer with 1–2 years of experience to support our Human Resources Department in daily operations.
- The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR processes, compliance with policies, and providing support across recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and preparing new hire documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records (hard copy and digital) in line with company policies and data protection laws.
- Support payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, overtime, leave, etc.).
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits, leave management, and performance appraisals.
- Help implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal regulations.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Provide support in training coordination, staff welfare programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Assist in compiling HR metrics and preparing HR-related reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 – 2 years of HR experience in a corporate environment is required.
- Good understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); HR software knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
