
A leading manufacturing company specializing in the production of PET preforms, bottles, closures, lids, and tubs (incorporated in 2000 and located in the Sango-Ota axis) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join its dynamic team and contribute to the continued growth and success of the organization.
Position:
HSE Officer.
Location:
Sango-Ota Axis.
The HSE Officer will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment within the manufacturing facility. This role involves conducting regular inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, and guiding staff to adhere to regulatory requirements and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain HSE Legal Register and ensure compliance with all Federal and State requirements.
- Facilitate, review, update, and document hazard identification and risk assessment registers.
- Manage, review, and test the Company’s Emergency Response Plan.
- Advise on specialist areas such as hazardous substances, noise control, fire regulations, safeguarding machinery, and occupational diseases.
- Inspect, track, and test all safety equipment, including first aid kits and fire prevention/protection systems.
- Supervise fumigation and pest control activities, ensuring proper documentation.
- Report all food safety-related issues to the food safety team/leader.
- Facilitate occupational health and safety (OHS) training programs for employees.
- Manage incident reporting, ensure timely submission, and prepare monthly performance reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Environmental Management or related field.
- ISPON Certification (mandatory).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

Salary:
₦200,000 – ₦250,000 + Other Benefits
