Pocketfood.io is on a mission to transform workplace dining via healthy, subscription-based meals delivered with consistency and quality. We partner with corporate clients to offer nutritious, convenient meals for employees. As we scale, we need a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our efforts to acquire and grow corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and convert new corporate clients (offices, SMEs, enterprises) to become subscription accounts.
- Develop sales pipelines, manage leads, follow up, negotiate and close contracts.
- Create tailored value propositions, proposals, pricing packages, and presentations for different client segments.
- Maintain and grow relationships for renewals, upsells, referrals.
- Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and propose partnership opportunities.
- Track metrics: pipeline conversion, deal size, sales cycle, client retention, client satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3+ years in B2B sales / business development, ideally with corporate clients.
- Proven track record of closing deals of meaningful revenue size.
- Comfortable dealing with procurement cycles, contract negotiation.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship skills.
- Metrics-driven mindset; ability to use a CRM and interpret sales data.
- Self-starter, able to work in a fast, ambiguous environment.
