Job Descrition
- The Business Development Manager will drive the growth of the company’s Internet Service Provider (ISP) and telecommunications business by identifying new opportunities, building strategic relationships, and developing solutions that meet client needs.
- The role requires a deep understanding of the telecom/ISP industry, competitive landscape, and customer requirements to expand market share and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue, sales, and market share targets.
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, SME, residential, and government sectors.
- Prepare and present proposals and contracts tailored to client requirements.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles: lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Serve as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries and challenges.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates to inform business strategies.
- Identify gaps in the market and recommend new products, services, or partnerships.
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and exhibitions to boost brand visibility.
- Prepare periodic business development reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 4+ years’ experience in business development management in an ISP or telecommunications sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of broadband, fiber optics, data solutions, and enterprise connectivity services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain professional networks.
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced telecom environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and sales reporting.
Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
