Proof of English Proficiency Exemption
You may request an exemption if:

- You are a current or a former CEU student applying to a CEU doctoral program, or
- You have obtained a Bachelor’s and/or a Master’s degree taught exclusively in English.

- You must apply online.
- No need to contact the professor. The department will automatically assign you a professor after your selection.
- Upload all the documents online.
- Final-year Bachelors students can also apply.
How to Apply for the Central European University Scholarship 2026?
- All application materials must be submitted online. You may apply to up to 5 programs.
- CEU charges an application fee of EUR 30. Please submit your application only when it is 100% final and complete. Without an application fee, the application will not be accepted.
