Applications are open for university students from across the globe who are eager to make a positive impact on the planet. If you’re passionate about sustainability and want to empower younger generations to take action for the environment, this is your opportunity to get involved in something truly transformative.
The Earth Prize 2026 is inviting enthusiastic university students to take on the role of Mentors, offering support and encouragement to high school teams as they work on innovative solutions to real-world environmental issues. This volunteer role allows you to gain international experience, strengthen your leadership and communication skills, and be part of a global network of youth driving sustainable change.
As a Mentor, you’ll engage with students in a fully virtual setting, dedicating approximately two hours per week between September and March. Not only will you help guide students through their projects, but you’ll also grow personally and professionally in the process. Outstanding Mentors will even have the chance to receive a $2,500 award in recognition of their exceptional contributions.
