The Program will run from November 3 to December 2, 2025. “Granada UNESCO City of Literature,” recognized by UNESCO, is a special city for literature.
The Objective of this program is to invite writers and literary translators from any country to participate in a one-month International Writers’ Residency Program in Granada, Spain. This Program is run by Granada’s City Council (its local government) and the University of Granada. There is no application fee, and all the expenses are covered. - Applicants from around the world are eligible.
- Open to Writers and Literary translators from any country.
- Applicants must have at least two published books (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, etc.) to be eligible.

Writers chosen for the program will be announced on September 30, 2025, on the Granada City of Literature website.
