The National Universities Commission (NUC) is hiring for various positions!
Available Positions
Here are the available roles:
- Senior Officer (CONTISS 9): Identify and facilitate innovations and best practices in the Nigerian University System. Requirements include a Ph.D. degree or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience or a first degree with 6+ years of experience.
- Trainee/Officer I (CONTISS 8): Collect, collate, and analyze data on Nigerian Universities. Requirements include a Master’s degree or a first degree with 3+ years of experience.
- Trainee Officer II (CONTISS 7): Collect and interpret data, prepare draft memoranda, and official correspondence. Requirements include a first degree.
- Confidential Secretary I (CONTISS 7): Provide secretarial services, including diary management and document organization. Requirements include a Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies with 3+ years of experience.
- Assistant Cameraman (CONTISS 5): Perform routine photographic duties. Requirements include a National Diploma in Cinematography or Mass Communication.
- Data Processing Assistant (CONTISS 5): Input, update, and maintain information in databases. Requirements include a National Diploma in relevant fields.
- Artisans/Craftsman: Perform duties in specific fields like carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, or air conditioning. Requirements include an ‘O’ Level Certificate or Trade Test Certificate.
- Lift Operator: Operate lifts and perform simple maintenance jobs. Requirements include a First School Leaving Certificate.
- Motor Driver/Mechanic: Drive assigned vehicles and maintain records. Requirements include an ‘O’ Level Certificate, a valid Class ‘C’ Driving license, and Trade Test Certificate.

- NYSC discharge/exemption certificate, digital skills, and computer literacy required for CONTISS 7-9
