Accounts/ Financial Controller

- Salary Range: ₦500,000 – ₦750,000/month
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or M.Sc. is an added advantage).
- ICAN, ACCA or equivalent professional certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior financial role within the oil & gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage a team of finance professionals.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws applicable to the oil & gas industry.
- Supervise accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and banking activities.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Implement and maintain internal control systems.
