Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the bank’s business goals.
• Lead brand development, positioning, and communications strategies across all channels.
• Oversee market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends.
• Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through targeted campaigns.
• Manage digital and traditional marketing efforts including social media, PR, advertising, and events.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and operations to ensure alignment.
• Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
• Monitor KPIs and ROI of marketing initiatives and optimize performance accordingly.
• Champion innovation in marketing technology and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA orprofessional marketing certification is a plus).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/executive role—preferably within financial services, fintech, or microfinance.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian financial market and customer behavior.
• Proven track record of brand building, digital transformation, and marketing-led growth.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to marketing.
• Experience in customer segmentation, campaign management, and CRM systems.
