Our client, a reputable International School located in Lagos(Mainland), is seeking a competent and experienced Electrician to join its Facility Maintenance Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems within the school premises, including solar inverter systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance of all electrical installations.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in classrooms, offices, and general school facilities.
- Monitor and maintain the school’s solar inverter system, ensuring optimal performance and timely servicing.
- Install new electrical systems or upgrade existing ones as needed.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Work with the facility team to resolve any maintenance-related issues promptly.
- Maintain a maintenance log and report any issues to the Facility Manager.
Requirements:
- Â Minimum of SSCE Certificate, Trade Test Certificate or equivalent qualification in Electrical Works.
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as an electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and solar inverter operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail.Â
