About the Role

• We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Marketing Officer to promote our new venture and help us grow our customer base.
• As a logistics marketing officer, you will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to promote logistics services, identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and collaborate with operations to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

• We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing within the logistics industry.
• This role requires a proactive individual who can develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and enhance our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company targets and objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth.
• Create and implement marketing campaigns to promote our services and attract new clients.
• Create awareness and generate leads among importers in Nigeria.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Provide regular reports on marketing and sales activities.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar marketing role, preferably within the logistics or shipping industry.
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the import and logistics process in Nigeria.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
