The Sisterly HQ Interns Program is an 8-week, full-time remote internship designed to give young Nigerian women practical, career-shaping experience while supporting purpose-driven organisations. The program is supported by Fora Network for Change and Virgin Unite.
The internship will begin on September 8, 2025, and end on November 7, 2025.
Interns will receive:
- A monthly stipend.
- Pre-program training for success.
- Ongoing mentorship, check-ins, and growth opportunities.

About the host
The host organisation works to break cycles of poverty and neglect for street children, especially girls, through education, skills, and mentorship. This year, they are planning an anniversary charity ball to raise vital awareness and resources.
Intern tasks include supporting event logistics, partner coordination, and administrative systems that strengthen both the celebration and the organisation’s long-term operations.
Required: Strong organisational and time management skills, attention to detail, and clear communication. Proactive problem-solving, adaptability, and tech-savviness.

- You are based in Lagos and available to work remotely, full-time (40 hours/week) from September to early November 2025.

- You can complete the Sisterly HQ pre-program training before your internship begins.
- You will participate actively in mentorship sessions hosted by Sisterly HQ.
- You are ready to follow the onboarding, training processes, and mentorship program from both Sisterly HQ and your host organisation.
- You will complete all required reports.
- You are committed to excellence and open to feedback, supervision, and accountability.
Don’t Apply If:
- You cannot commit to the entire 8-week program or to 40 hours/week.
- You are unavailable for required training, mentorship, or check-ins.
- You are applying only for the stipend or as a short-term side hustle.
