Position Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Live-In Nurse to provide comprehensive medical and personal care for a newborn.
- The Nurse will be responsible for ensuring the infant’s health, safety, and overall development while residing full-time with the family.
- This role requires proven expertise in newborn and pediatric care, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively in a private household environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialised and professional nursing care for the newborn in accordance with medical standards.
- Monitor and record vital signs, feeding schedules, sleeping patterns, and developmental milestones.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the pediatrician.
- Ensure a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment at all times.
- Provide guidance and education to parents on newborn care, health management, and developmental needs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records of the newborn.
- Respond promptly to any health-related concerns, emergencies, or changes in the infant’s condition.
- Collaborate effectively with parents and other household staff to support smooth daily routines.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or equivalent qualification with valid practicing license.
- Minimum of 5 -10 years hands-on experience in pediatric or neonatal care (NICU experience advantageous).
- Current Infant and Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification.
- Demonstrated ability to manage newborn health, nutrition, and early development.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and respect for household privacy.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to the needs of a live-in role.
- Age: 27 – 35 years Old.
