The Key Purpose of this role is to ensure optimum volume throughput and utilization of brewery resources and people, in order to support central planning in the supply of stock for grid requirements.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Process
- Liaise with WSNP regarding development of Packaging and Brewing Production Schedules based off of 13 Week Plan and develop a monthly and weekly schedule taking into account production constraints whilst optimally utilizing production resources and manage changes as necessary.Â
- Liaison with relevant stakeholders to ensure all constraints have been accounted for and GLY, OSE KPIs are optimizedÂ
- For production capability at the Brewery and for DCs within the Preferred Route Matrix (PRM) Out of Stocks to be analysed to understand if Demand or Supply issue/constraintÂ
- NPD Routines to understand changes and which Brewery is impacted. For discontinued SKUs Stock on Hand Management (Brewery and Suppliers) to ensure run out plans are executed to minimize write offs. Communication of discontinued SKUs. For New SKUs , trial run plans and effective communication with Stakeholders (UMs, Quality, Plant Manager etc.)Â
- Ensure implementation and compliance of VPO Excellence ProgramsÂ
- KPI Management through Effective Reporting and Problem Solving (E.g. 5 WHY, Abnormality Reports, SIC, OPLs, RACI’s, OWD’s, PDCA’s)Â
- Continuously look for financial optimization opportunities internal and externalÂ

Minimum Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent tertiary qualification. Ideally an Industrial Engineering qualificationÂ
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, or within a similar functionÂ
- Knowledge of the Supply Network Planning process, and manufacturing execution systems will be advantageousÂ
- Basic financial knowledgeÂ
- PC Literacy –basic Excel and database management skills
