Job Summary
- Waje Smart Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of our IT solutions. You’ll work closely with developers and project teams to test, identify issues, and uphold the highest standards of quality. This role is key to delivering seamless products, driving customer satisfaction, and supporting our growth as a trusted IT partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs or issues, working closely with developers to resolve them.
- Ensure software products meet functional, performance, security, and usability standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, project managers, designers) to ensure quality is built into every stage of the development lifecycle.
- Perform regression, integration, and user acceptance testing before product releases.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.
- Provide clear documentation of test results and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with manual and automated testing.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar).
- Ability to write clear, concise test cases and documentation.
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Software Testing Fundamentals (Manual Testing, SDLC/STLC)
- Test Automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Appium)
- API Testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
- CI/CD and Version Control (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
- Time management skills to meet project deadlines
