Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives and drive business growth for a reputable organization in the pest control industry. The ideal candidate will bring proven corporate B2B sales experience, excellent leadership skills, and a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. This role calls for a results-driven professional who can quickly identify opportunities, generate leads, and seamlessly convert them into sales. Candidates with an established industry presence or strong professional networks that can be leveraged for immediate impact will be highly valued.
Job Description And Responsibilities:
- Understand and effectively communicate product offerings, functionally, positioning, and competitive advantage. Â
- Manage and grow existing customer base by understanding and anticipating customer’s needs. Â
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and professional development opportunities. Â
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve targets and drive Pest control business growth within the various channel. Â
- Analyze key market trends & competitive activities to anticipate opportunities & issues to facilitate next steps to tap or defend. Â
- Maintain awareness of pertinent customer information, future plans and payment performance, and communicate any information that would affect company decisions. Â
- Market services to prospective clients.Â
- Continuously source for new accounts and new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media Â
- Manage relationships with existing customers Â
- Ensure customers satisfaction and continued patronage through a series of follow ups and customer engagement. Â
- Gather information on competitors, suggesting strategies for to attain a sustainable competitive advantage Â
- Monitor market trends, product performance and conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Â
- Setting up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns, also preparing and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.Â
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.Â
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.Â
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections. Â
- Understand and effectively communicate product offerings, functionality, positioning, and competitive advantage. Â
- Provide constructive feedback to peers and to other departments and challenge status quo where necessary Â
- Build and maintain a professional networks of clients. Â
- Perform tasks required by the Managing Director / CEO and as directed to the Sales Manager within the contest of your discipline by management. Â
- Ability to drive a car.Â
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- A bachelor\’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred Â
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, with a proven track record of success, is crucial. Experience specifically in the pest control industry is highly desirable. Â
- A strong understanding of pest identification, behavior, and common treatment methods is essential would be plus, if any. Â
- Industry-specific certifications can be an advantage Â
- Strong sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, closing deals, and account management Â
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders Â
- The ability to negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability.Â
- The ability to lead and motivate other sales team, set goals, and drive performanceÂ
- The ability to identify and resolve customer issues and challenges Â
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.Â
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software Â
- The ability to adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and sales strategies.Â
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: N 400,000 net monthly.
Other Benefits: Commissions, Bonuses, Monthly Call Card, Flexible work schedules.
