- Expertise in using CAD software for 3D modeling for sheet metal , design creation, and generating fabrication drawings is essential. Specific programs like SolidWorks, AutoCAD
- Depending on the specific role, knowledge of programming for numerically controlled machines is additional advantage important for translating designs into automated manufacturing processes
- The ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings and blueprints is crucial for translating designs into fabrication plans
- Experience with quality control and assurance processes in a manufacturing environment is valuable for ensuring the accuracy and precision of fabricated parts.Â
