The Vertical Manager will be responsible for overseeing business operations, strategy, and growth within a specific industry vertical. This role involves driving sales, managing client relationships, developing tailored solutions, and ensuring the vertical’s profitability while aligning with the company’s overall objectives.
Job Description
- Develop and execute vertical-specific business strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify new business opportunities within the assigned vertical and drive market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering customized solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, finance, and product) to ensure smooth delivery of vertical initiatives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities within the vertical.
- Drive sales performance by setting targets, monitoring progress, and coaching the vertical’s sales team.
- Manage vertical P&L (Profit and Loss) and ensure financial goals are achieved.
- Develop tailored marketing strategies in partnership with the marketing team to strengthen brand positioning in the vertical.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery and effective issue resolution.
- Monitor and evaluate KPIs for vertical operations and present performance reports to management.
- Collaborate with product development teams to recommend new product features or services tailored to vertical-specific needs.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals while ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance visibility and networking.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies within the vertical.
- Mentor, train, and develop vertical team members to build capabilities and improve performance.
